Born in Holland, Marcel Sanders, the President of the Board of Aurora Group, lives since 1978 in Portugal. He possesses a wide experience in the Tourism and Project Development sectors in Portugal and is supported by a competent Team with qualified professionals in all areas of the business.
He is known in the Algarve as a talented entrepreneur and a successful businessman. Portugal, where he has his permanent residency, offers him ideal opportunities to expand his activities. Marcel Sanders started his activity in Portugal in 1995 with the successful company Sanders Properties in the Project development sector.
The good reputation earned from the hard work at Sanders Properties and Aurora Group, relies in the ability to find the perfect properties for different concepts and Designs. This was the starting point for the development of extraordinary Villas and smaller developments for very demanding clients. With a clear perspective for the small details whereas not overseeing the bigger picture, Sanders Properties became a market leader in the development of 4 and 5 stars Villas.
Having started with the development of smaller projects, the company evolved to bigger goals through a continuous growth of its activity. Aurora also had a decisive input at previous Resort Development projects, like for example the „Sheraton Vila Marinha Resort" in Benagil.
